    The day has finally come!

Last night, November 2nd, "Faint by Numbers" was officially released, and premiered to a packed house at the Big Apple Film Festival! It was a fantastic event, and I was thrilled to a part of it.

This was the culmination of over three years of constant work, struggle, and focus. Thank you to everyone who helped along the way, our fantastic cast and crew, and our family and friends that put up with us during the tedious hard times. Any film feels like a miracle to pull off, but something of this size and scope getting done independently feels like a blessing. Thank you to anyone that has supported us along the way, and/or continue to support us. Hopefully, this is only the beginning! Please, enjoy the film!

For more info on the film, check out www.faintbynumbers.com, or click on the link in the "films" tab up top.

    Hi everyone!

This is easily one of the coolest things I've ever had to write.

"Faint by Numbers" has been accepted, and will be screening, at the Big Apple Film Festival at Tribeca Cinemas in NYC in November! We will be playing on Wednesday, November 2nd, the 2nd day of the event, in the 6:30pm block. Feel free to check out the whole program at their site. I'll be updating the site shortly with news on the event, and info on how to attend!

The other big news is that the official Echopainter Creative facebook page has been opened, as you can see by the box on the left. So please hit that like button, and tell all your friends to hit that like! It means a lot, and I'm going to have some pretty cool stuff going up there coming soon. Its also a great source for news and more. Tell your friends!

Also now open is the Echopainter Creative channel over at Vimeo, which makes it easy to watch nearly any video I'll post to this site. You can check it out at www.vimeo.com/channels/echopainter. The link is also available anytime on the links bar, on the right hand side.

With all that, I'd like to say thank you. This site has only been open for a little over 2 months, but its been 4 years in the making. Faint by Numbers alone was encompassed over 3 years of my life, a lot of it in dark rooms for 12 hours on end making sure everything looked just right. And that's not even the months of writing, pre-production, shooting, post and so much more. It's been a lot of time, a lot of work, and a lot of emotion. And I'd like to say thank you to anyone that's helped us in the past, that is helping us now, that liked us on facebook, or told a friend about this site. I'd like to thank my family and friends for support during difficult, trying times, and their unwavering, unending support. I promise, I won't let you down.

More info will be posted soon!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the show of support during the site and company launch. It means the world.

Here's a quick bit of cool news. I was the editor on a short film earlier in the year, written and directed by Faint by Numbers Assistant Director and good friend James Newman. The film just had its premiere two weeks ago at IndieScreen in Brooklyn, and it went fantastic. A packed house loved the film (and the Faint by Numbers trailer world debut, which you can now see for yourself here), and we all got a write-up in the Huntington Buzz:

This Saturday was the world premiere event of 'Work Hard, Play Harder,' an independent film shot out in Long Island last fall. The short screened in Brooklyn's IndieScreen cinema at 8pm where guests mingled in a chic, contemporary lounge before the show.

Being one of the first 35 guests to attend, I received a limited edition set of posters. I was immediately blown away with the design which creatively displayed the faces of the two main characters, Des and Bri, without giving away to much information. The expression on both of their faces posed as an intrigue.

Slightly small, the theatre was great for an intimate setting. Director/ Writer, James Newman stood up and gave a brief introduction and presented us with a short trailer before the show. There seemed to be a great turn out with only a few scattered empty seats.

If you didn't catch the first blurb about the event, 'Work Hard, Play Harder,' is about is about two seemingly normal, everyday girls who live double lives. During the day they are seen as a caring daughter and an honest girlfriend, but when the sun sets it’s a completely different story. At night they carry out their… not so legal job as ‘Aggressive Negotiators.' Much to my surprise, it had a great balance between drama and comedy. I was really impressed with how well Newman was able to mesh both genres together. Although short, the film had an interesting twist at the end which can only mean that Newman must have future plans with this piece.

After the screening, guests moved back out into the lounge where everyone congratulated the cast and crew on a year's worth of hard preproduction, production and extensive post production. Things seemed to run smoothly until a spontaneous Q & A struck up. I would have preferred if the theatre was rented for a longer time that way the cast and crew could've gotten on stage to better answer questions. It was hard peeking over heads and struggling to hear.

Luckily, I was able to grab a few words from Newman about his plans for the future now that the film as been debuted.

"Well, we just had the premiere then after this we are going to work out distribution, festivals and expansion. We are looking at Tribeca and other big events like that. And I actually expanded the film's script to 77 pages so that's something I want to do, and everyone is excited to start that so that'll be good. And then it'll be on to the next film. Exciting stuff! Thank you for coming."

So there you have it. Keep an eye out for the next screening. Word has it that it may be screening at Huntington's Cinema Arts Center in the near future.

An open letter to you, the visitor.

    Welcome to Echopainter Creative.

I had the idea for Echopainter Creative back in 2008, when I was still in college and working at the local video store, taking all the hours I could to build a budget for my first big short film. I wanted to build more than a faceless company that can slap a logo on the back of a DVD. I wanted Echopainter to be me, to encompass all of my passions, all of the art forms I loved. And while this site and the vision I have for this presence will continue to grow, it says something that it no longer exists as just an idea. It no longer exists solely in my head. Its here.

This has all taken years to build. Thousands of dollars in personal expenses. And a lot of guts to just put it all out there and on the line. But today, clicking that "publish" button, feels pretty worth it. It has been a long journey, and one that continues. I sincerely hope you enjoy what you find here.

So what's here? Clicking the about button will tell you a little bit about me, and what I believe this all is. The films tab is pretty self explanatory. Currently, it is presenting my featured release, Faint by Numbers. Clicking on the tab, or just by going to www.faintbynumbersfilm.com, will take you to the official website. The photography tab will bring you to my portfolio, where you can browse photos from collections, photo series' and events. And the ArcFrame Media page shows some other projects that I've edited for friends, colleagues, and clients.

This might be Day 1, but just like any creative thing, it lives and breathes. It only starts here.

Thanks for visiting the site and showing your support. It means more than you can imagine.
